Comprehensive, compassionate support designed to help women heal, grow, and build a sustainable future.
Our structured residential program walks women through every stage of recovery and rebuilding — from the moment they arrive to the day they step out ready to thrive. No two journeys are the same, and every plan is personalized around each woman's unique needs and goals.

Person-centered care
Our programs address every dimension of a woman's life — spiritual, emotional, educational, social, and practical — to ensure lasting transformation.
We believe education is the foundation of lasting independence. Our program offers structured classes to help women earn their GED and open doors to employment and higher education.
Our experienced counselors meet each resident with empathy, compassion, and the Word of God. We address trauma, addiction recovery, grief, and the emotional wounds that need healing.
Every resident works with a case manager to design a personalized plan that addresses her specific circumstances, health needs, and goals — mapping a clear path forward.
Many women entering our program have never had the opportunity to learn the practical skills needed for independent living. We fill that gap with hands-on, practical training.
No woman succeeds alone. We connect every resident to the full network of Rochester's social services and community resources, while also encouraging her to give back through volunteerism.
Our intentional blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, 12-step programs, hands-on support, and faith-based identity building compiles all the best proven practices for treatment that will lead to long-term abstinence from drug and alcohol use.
Research has proven that the #1 predictor of sustained sobriety is faith building. According to a 2019 study to determine whether faith is indispensable in preventing and recovering from substance abuse, 84% of studies show faith reduces drug abuse risk, and 90% of studies show faith reduces alcohol abuse risk.
A study in 2022 on faith-based intervention showed faith-based treatments grew women's spiritual commitment, predicting 44% higher odds of sustained sobriety vs. secular programs. This means that faith in Christ is studied and proven to be, by far, the best road to transformational, long-term recovery.
Women who complete our program are 100% more equipped to handle independent living.
The Door of Hope is designed for adult women who are ready to commit to a 9–12 month journey of restoration. We welcome women from many different backgrounds and circumstances.
Women recently released from prison or jail who need stable housing and reentry support.
Women seeking to maintain sobriety and rebuild their lives in a supportive, structured environment.
Women without stable housing who are seeking a safe, long-term living situation.
Our program is grounded in Christian faith. Residents should be open to participating in our faith-integrated approach to healing.
"Our goal is to bring healing to broken lives and restore hope to those who are in need."
